UGears Cash Register Kit

This cash register looks old timey, but it’s actually extremely sophisticated. You can use it like a register or a bank—it’s a lock box with a code (which you should regularly change for security reasons... siblings, you know.) AND a key so you can safely store coins and cash inside. The mechanism sucks up money into the spot for bills when you pull the lever. Pretty incredible!

These amazing laser cut wooden mechanical kits blew our minds when we got them in! They’re sort of a puzzle, sort of a model... somewhere in between. They require no tools other than your hands and your brain, and no batteries are required—movable parts turn with a manual crank or a rubber band-driven mechanism. Very steampunk, very cool.
